In Every Heartbeat by Kim Vogel Sawyer REVIEW

*This book is not Sci-fi or Fantasy*

Summary: Three college friends will have their friendship tested as they deal with life.

I honestly had no idea how good this book would be.  It’s very rare when I read historical fiction, I usually read fantasy fiction.  This book was very terrific.  It takes place soon before world war one breaks out.  Fans of Fitzgerald will really like this book.  This book is nothing like “The Great Gatsby”, it just the shares the same period in history.

The characters are deep and meaningful. One of the characters, who is disabled was the strongest. Being disabled myself, I thought the character was very realistic in how people with disabilities act. I like the fact that she actually talked to someone who was disabled while she was researching the character.

The plot was great. I didn’t get bored at all like I normally do in Christian historical fiction. Sawyer writes like Alfred Hitchcock, in the way there is one plot twist quickly following another.

What are waiting for? Find this book! I give it 10 out of 10 points!
